About

As a teenager in snowy Canada, Marco Moliterni was obsessed with THE O.C., vowing to one day move to sunny California to be a screenwriter (and maybe even Seth Cohen’s boyfriend).

At just 15, he co-produced his first feature during a summer of adventure (and chaos) that forever cemented his filmmaking passion.

Themes I find myself returning to again and again in my filmmaking include unexpected family, rebirth and reinvention, the isolation, community, and liberation of queerness, and the tension between persona and identity.

Besides filmmaking, Marco’s other loves in life are his friends and family, biking, exploring cities, cooking, and dancing late into the night (or morning).

Born and raised in Toronto, Marco lives in Echo Park, LA.

Influences

I’m a big believer in taste compatibility (and contrast) so here’s a snapshot of some of the art I’ve connected with most of late. All time favorites towards the top.
